Saving Word document creates a duplicate transparent file
When I am on my desktop computer and I am saving an already created Word document or I am saving a Word document being downloaded from an email or website, I am seeing a duplicate transparent file being created. The beginning of the file name is being replaced with a '~' or a '$~'. I always thought this was because you had the document open and were in the process of editing it. Now I don't think that is the case because I am seeing these duplicates when the document is closed. Any advice on what is going on would be appreciated. Is Word corrupted or am I just missing something simple here? |
