All,
I've searched here prior to submitting this question, but if I'm searching based upon wrong keywords please point me in the right direction. I'm creating a template for my organization and have several questions regarding styles. I've spent the last two days researching and there are several questions I have that I can't seem to find the answer for. Is it possible to have a style apply two distinct formats based upon criteria? Example : (Cereal) General Mills... This happens in every paragraph and I was told there was a way to have the style apply different formatting based upon the Parenthesis or "everything before the first double space formatted this way, and everything after differently" Is this possible without using character sytle and style separators as we receive huge documents that we have to format? Is it possible to have styles apply section breaks and disregard two column format? The title of a paper would span the whole page and the date would be right side aligned. Then, after that, the paper enters two column format and all following text is sectioned off accordingly. Is it possible to have a 2 column format template saved, copy and paste all information in, and when applying the title and date, have the document disregard the 2 column format? Would it be possible to have the title be followed by a continuous section break? What is the best way to achieve this affect? I apologize if my question has been previously answered, but I can't find anything using all the keywords I've contained in this post. Thank you in advance for any help. |
