page numbering problems
I am a relative newbie to word. I am working in a document that has multiple sections. Each section has independently numbered pages. One of the sections starts SC1, SC2, SC3.... but at a certain point it jumps to SC22 and every page after that is SC22. Is there a simple way to correct this? THis is a long complicated document and I don't want to screw it up. |

Where the SC22 starts there is a section break and a change in the header or footer that contains the page number.

Yes there is a section break. I tried deleting the section break and putting in a page break instead but it didn't fix it.

The headers and footers are in the section mark at the end of the section, not the one at the beginning.
