Default Line

Hi guys,

I was wondering if you could help me get rid of the line I have in a word document. This line is not selectable, I can only see it in some zoom %, if I copy/paste the document it follows in the new one.

I've tried to go in watermark, to select it while pressing control, nothing work. I would really appreciate if someone could help me out.

Here is a link to see the line: http://www.cspi.qc.ca/cfma/vgx-images/Line.png

That diagonal line is not a border so I don't think Charles' links will be much help to you. Instead, try the following:
Go to the Home tab and look for the last button on that tab which says Select. Click on it and then choose the Select Objects. This changes your selection mode temporarily so you can either click on the line directly or lasso the line (click and drag over the space where the line is sitting). Once the selection is made, you can use the Delete key to remove the line.

I apologize for not looking at your screenshot. Unfortunately, this is not something that a screenshot helps much with. The line appears to be behind text since it is occluded by the shading in your table. While it might be a border, it would not be a paragraph border. It is almost certainly a graphical element and may be in the header-footer layer.

Try making a copy of your document and delete all other content. Then post it here using the Go Advanced Button at the bottom and then the paperclip icon to attach the copy.
