Formatting my book for self-publishing, 2 quick questions...

Here is a link to two screenshots I took of the novel I'm self-publishing. As you can see, in the first picture I cannot figure out how to remove the line from the footer, and in the second picture I cannot figure out how to remove the title page from the header for select pages.



Any ideas?

Question 1:
The line is a paragraph border would be my guess.

Question 2: See How to control the page numbering in a Word document.
Use an IF field to test for the page number.
