Modifying Numbering Styles
I have a style library linked to a numbering list and although I can easily modify the font for the text in the body of the style I cannot find a way to modify the font in the linked number list.
Please can anyone help? |

Here is an explanation of numbering that helped me when I moved from Word 2003 to 2010. I expect it applies to Word 2013.
In the numbering dialog, have you selected the styles in the Link Heading to Style box? Has any special formatting been applied in the Font dialog next to "Enter formatting for number? |

Thanks Bruce, I'll give it a go.

If you mean that you have set up a Quick Style set with numbered styles, note that Quick Style sets are not safe with numbering. Instead, set up a template with your numbered styles. Be sure to follow the instructions in Shauna Kelly's article, to which Bruce has already supplied a link: http://shaunakelly.com/word/numberin...g20072010.html.
