I have put 3 images side by side in a document and put the relevent figure number and description with each one and now the list of figures has the three things side by side on one line. Is there asny way of having the list show each figure on its own line?

The captions need to be in separate paragraphs to show separately.

Put the images into a 3 column table and add the captions separately under each figure.
