Shortcut Key - Ribbon Alt+H
Hello everyone!
When i pressed Alt + H different alphanumeric character are generated on the Ribbon in Word 2007. Character look like FF, FS, FG, FK, U, E ,N, M, AO, AI, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, FB, R, SL. Shortcuts
Alt+H displays/selects the Home tab in the ribbon. The letters you are seeing are further shortcuts to the items on that tab. For example, pressing FS will then activate the Font Size field, that is, you can use the arrow keys up and down to raise or lower the font size.
Each Tab has a letter. Alt+N will select the Insert tab and display the shortcuts on that tab. |

I should add, the numbers you see, 1,2,3..., are for the items on your Quick Access Toolbar (QAT), left to right. Whatever you place on this toolbar can be activated by pressing Alt+the item's left-to right number. MAny people never discover this tool. It is a very quick way of accomplishing tasks that are most important to your work, from the keyboard.
