I am having difficulty with the format controls in a new document produced using Word 365. Clicking on Page layout - Orientation. if I select Portrait the displayed layout is landscape. If I select Landscape, you guessed it, I get a landscape format.
More serious however is the fact that any document I try and print is printed as an A5 document on half the the A4 page. I have tried all the controls I can think off to no avail - margins, columns, paragraph. I am considering re-installing Word but there must be an easier way. In the Page Setup dialog box, click the Margins tab. Make sure that "Multiple pages" is set to "Normal." At File | Print, make sure that "1 Page Per Sheet" is selected.

That was the offending area. Multiple Pages was set to booklet!
Thanks. |
