When I create a new file in Word 2013, it begins with gray lines between lines of text and around the page margins in Edit mode. I can't figure out how to remove these.
Moreover, a paragraph of text that extends past one line wraps and remains inside one set of gray lines. See attachment. Finally, in this mode, my cursor does not appear. Can someone help me resolve this problem. What am I doing wrong? |

I see no gray lines of any kind in your attachment; in fact, it looks normal.
Maybe something with your system setup that is producing the gray line effect? |

Jim,
Thanks for this feedback. I guess you're right, it's something in my system. But I have no idea what it is. So what can I do now to resolve this problem? Mike |
