Hanging relative to the number
Can we adjust the hanging position relative to the length of the number style? That means if the number of digits in number increases, hanging shall increase accordingly. Now if I create hanging of say 0.5 cm aligning to single digit number, alignment gets disturbed when we get two digit numbers and then tree digit numbers.

No - but see your other thread, or as this one appears to explain what it is you are doing, create a numbering sequence with more leading zeros. The list number dialog allows for four leading zeros, which should cover any practical list, and you can prefix that with your text.

You can specify that the list number should be right-aligned in the numbering dialog box.
However, see also Graham's reply, if this is in reference to your previous thread on a similar topic.
