Hi, I have got some problems with editing the text what it I have marked. The problem is only with marked text. I couldn't delete with backspace, overwrite the text. Only the Delete command works. I need to mark the text and click delete, if I made a mistake. (example: I write: Windews, I need to mark all the text, click to Delete, and rewrite correct: Windows.) The keyboard shortcuts are working (example: ctrl+c/+v/+x, shift+arrows). Can you help me? The problem is with all things: word, outlook, excell, notes ect. I have problems on the internet too. Yeah, it is a problem with the windows maybe..? But can you help me? Thank you very much! |

In Word 2013, make sure that "Typing replaces selected text" is checked at File tab | Options | Advanced.
Of course, changing that setting won't affect how text editing is treated in other programs.
