Between footnote 17 and 18 there is a gap which I cannot remove. I have done the following
1. Right click 2. Paragraph 3. Changing line spacing to 'single' 4. Making sure spacing is at zero However the gap remains. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? |

Display nonprinting marks, for example by clicking the ¶ button on the Home tab. See if there is a blank paragraph mark, ¶, at the end of footnote 17. Press Backspace to delete it (selecting it and pressing Delete usually doesn't work with footnote text).
Also/alternatively, you can share the document with the forum. Upload a file in Word format.
