New to word: formatting a program with bios and pix; needs to be easily editable. Where to start?!
Hi.
i've not used Word much, but am familiar with other desktop software. I planning on making a Kids Honors night program in Word so others can use it down the line. not sure how to do this and where to start. what i want: 8.5x11; staple at top. 2 columns of text. Short biographies of each kid for the text. This will flow up and down the page between columns however, i am stumped on the pictures part. Is there a way to keep a picture of each kid within the text about that kid and fit within the colum? that way it will flow easily between columns and pages as kids get in their info (some will be late). hoping this is easy; just not sure where to start as i really havent used word for this. seriously, thanks for hints, points, directions -- anything you've got!. |

By default Word inserts pictures in line, and an inserted picture will thus behave much as a large font character. Pictures larger than the space between the current margins will shrink to the width available (the height will adapt to the width).
