Default No Header Gap visible?

Hi, Please refer to attachment. As you can see with the attached, the 1st line typed is at the very top of the word page (note - when print previewed its got the Header gap)

How can I get word back to normal where there is the Header gap in the normal 'Print Layout', 'Normal Layout' etc views?

Note: when I view Header/Footer then close, the view goes back to normal. But when I reopen word from scratch, it goes back.

Many thanks
