Comment balloon too small
I am using Word 2003 and must have hit the wrong button...my comment balloon is too long and skinny to read the inserted comments. I know that I can read the comments in the Reviewing Pane, but I sent a document to others that are not used to the Review Pane and want to add comments to the document using balloons. What do I do to increase the balloons to the size that is readable? Help!!! |

The balloon text size is determined by the Balloon Text style. By default it is 8 point Tahoma. Display the Balloon Text style and modify it to taste. If you don't know how to do that, look for Balloon Text in the program's help and all will be revealed.

In addition to the Balloon Text style, you should modify the Comment Text style (so that the two styles have matching settings).
Also, verify that the "Preferred width" setting (for comment balloons) in the Track Changes Options dialog box is what you want.
