I am using MS Word 2010 to create a fillable form template. After creating all of the various form controls everything works as it should once the template is opened into a Word docx.
At the very bottom of the page I have included a signature line, which has no control attached. What I intend is for the user to complete the form online, then print out and write their signature at the bottom of the hard copy (an actual signature is required). Is there any way I can isolate this space on the page so that the user is unable to type anything where the signature line is? The problem I am running into is that some people simply type a name on the signature line after completing other parts of the form. I want to prevent the user from being able to "type" into the signature block I created. Thanks for anyone's input. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 03-24-2015 at 06:07 PM. |
