Default check box issue (problem with radio buttons from web page) Word 2013

I am suddenly having trouble checking boxes in my documents. Can anyone tell me what I should do to fix this?

I think something happened to the 'normal' template and now it won't allow me to check boxes in my tests I have in word.

There are at least three kinds of checkboxes in Word.
The normal template should have nothing to do with it unless these are MacroButton Fields. You can see if they are by opening a document that contains them and pressing Alt+F9. What do you see?

Once you look, remember to press Alt+F9 again to toggle the display back again.

I don't think that is a Word checkbox. Looks like something pasted from a web page.
Are you by chance using it in Web view?
I've never heard of it.

Word 2010 does have a checkbox content control you could use. You can find it on the Developer Tab.

They are radio buttons and I copy the quiz from online and then as I listen to the lesson I select the answers. I have never had a problem with it in all the years I have used MS Office. I just upgraded to Office 365 last month and it has worked fine until this morning.

Checkboxes I know. HTML radio buttons I do not. I changed the title of this thread in the hope that someone who has a clue can help you.
