Two problems, maybe related: c/paste not working, Word won't delete

My cut/copy and paste, using keys or anything else, won't work. Print Screen & then paste won't work.
Plus last image of Word, an empty unnamed page (but with a word count on the bottom) won't delete.

I'm working with Windows 8 and Word 2010.

Is your version of office activated?

My problem sorted itself. I turned off the computer. Turned it on again. No idea why my Word document wouldn't exit, no idea why the copy/cut-paste wouldn't work. All ok now.
