Default Word 2010 crashes after recent Security Update

Hello All,

I'm new obviously, but in desperate need of help. Let me clarify that I am not computer literate, nor am I literate in general... But, Microsoft just pushed out a recent security update which has caused my word docs. with macros to crash once I open them up. This issue also occurred during Microsoft's prior security update a few months ago, which was remedied by removing a specific update (KB2553154) and allowed word to operate normally when opening my docs. with macros. I've since hidden that update so it wouldn't be installed again but it looks like Microsoft has created another patch which causes the same issue. Can anyone give me advice? Thank you in advance.
