Talking Mail Merge - Many to One w/MS Access data

Hello everyone,

I have what appears to be a very easy problem but I have having trouble doing a many to one mailing. I am aware of the add on options but my data source is in MS access which doesn't seem to work with them. I spent hours watching a bunch of videos and reading many posts on the topic and can't figure out how to do this. PLEASE HELP ME

On to my problem:

I am trying to send a letter in which the key is "AccountNo" and trying to add multiple records of positions that we need to notify clients on.

Here is the section of the letter that I am trying to do the many to one on:

THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF THE MUTUAL FUND POSITIONS AFFECTED:

Share Amount Ticker/CUSIP Name of Fund
«Quantity» «SecSymbol»/«Cusip» «SecDesc»

We appreciate your attention to this matter and again thank you for your business.

Thank you in advance for any help that you can provide!

Many to One mail merge is difficult to achieve, however take a look at Paul Edstein's tutorial at http://www.gmayor.com/Zips/Catalogue%20Mailmerge.zip. The examples use Excel data, but the principles are similar whatever the data.

As you noted, third party add-ins like my own, work with Excel data, and that was complicated enough without having to cater for Access data, though I may investigate it at some future date. In the meantime, the simplest solution might be to export the data you require to Excel and then use http://www.gmayor.com/ManyToOne.htm
