Angry Problems typing after entering certain letters

I am having this sporadic problem where I am typing and after certain letters, such as 'n' and 'b', the computer suddenly highlights all the text or just stops typing all together.

Is this a fault or some strange setting I have managed to set?

This doesn't sound like a 'usual' Word problem.

My guess is that you are using a wireless keyboard and either the battery needs changing or another transmitter nearby is interfering with it.
