Modify mini toolbar
How do you add a command to the mini toolbar? I'd like to modify the mini toolbar to give me the option of striking through text when I select it. Is that possible?
Thanks in advance, Julie K. |

These are also called pop-up or shortcut menus.
See http://gregmaxey.com/word_tip_pages/...tcut_menu.html This is not easy, but it can be done. |

Charles,
I could be wrong, but Greg's article seems to deal with the right-click (context) menus, not with the "floating" formatting control that displays on top of an ordinary context menu.

Stefan, you likely are correct. There are two images attached. I believe the first (horizontal) may be the minitoolbar and the second the right-click Text menu. I believe that Greg's article only applies to the second (vertical menu). Modifying that may be sufficient, but I don't know.

I think the Mini Toolbar is static (thanks for providing the terminology, by the way!). If it can be customized, by any means, Greg is probably one of those people who could figure out how...

Charles and Stefan
You are correct that it's the mini toolbar (horizontal version) I'd like to modify. I suspect it is static. I'll check out Greg's site for more info. Thanks for your help. Julie Klein |
