Word Dictionary for Word 2007 - Molecular Biology definitions & videos

Need to create a molecular biology dictionary. Followed instructions that includes: proofing=>custom dictionaries=>Molecular Biology.dic, etc. I see how to add a word but could not find how to type in a definition of the word...


Additionally, Is there a way to link to webpages? I would want a link to videos that support the term as well as the definition. Much thanks for guidance as I await a reply.

The "dictionary" you can add is a spelling checker, it will not have definitions.

You would need a third-party application / add-in for that.

If you are trying to create your own, you could save entries (including links to web pages) as AutoText (Building Blocks) but that does not tie into Word's Reference functions. Automated Boilerplate Using Microsoft Word
