Find incorrect upper case while leaving correct ones?
Here's an example sentence:
"He lives in New Jersey but Commutes to New York." C in Commutes shouldn't be in upper case. Is there a fast way to find only the letters that shouldn't be in upper case and leave the right ones alone? I'm proofing a very long document with several such errors in every paragraph. Looking for a way to speed up things. Thanks. |

There is no magic bullet for this. You could go some of the way by noting which words or phrases regularly repeat incorrectly then use a macro to replace them with the correct versions, but Word does not know the difference between (say) New Jersey the place and New Jersey a new sweater.

That's a good idea. I'll try to keep track and see if there are some that always repeat.
