Track Changes only when something is added?

Hey Guys!

I am writing a document and I wish for Microsoft Office Word to track or log all the changes or things I add.

Example:
21/02/15: Added "abc"
22/02/15: Added "def"

Do I do this through the "Track Changes" feature is there another way?

Yes, you do this through track changes. That will keep track of who made the change and when.

It would be possible to create a macro that summarises this revision tracked information in a table somewhere in the document however most people would expect to see this information in the location of the change since context is very important for each revision.
