In MS Word 2003 onwards, what is the easiest way one can one pre-fill MS-Word forms with externally supplied data?
For instance, there are 7 forms published by a small claims court. Is it possible to fill the documents with entries supplied from some other source (example a text file) i.e. address in the address field, phone number in phone number field etc. |

The short answer to the question is yes. You can read the data from an external source. Excel is probably the simplest. You can read the name and address data from a worksheet into an array (or into a list or combo box in a userform) and interrogate the array for the data. Tell us more about what you have and what you want to read.
