I get: you must log on to microsoft exchange to access address book error when printing a envelope on word 2007. |

I would assume the envelope printing is trying to access your outlook address book for some reason.
Do you get the same error when Outlook is open?

No, just the envelope function. In outlook 2007 I have access to contacts.

Yes, but if Outlook is already open in the background and you use Word to print an envelope do you get the same message or does it work as expected?
