I am using MS Word (Office 2010) on a Windows 7, 64-bit computer.
I am posting computer software code to my word document by using Insert-> Object -> OpenDocument Text. This is mostly because it seems the only way to get spell check to completely ignore the text always; I tried Review-->Language--> Set Proofing Language --> Check box "Do not check spelling or grammar", however this does not work(in the long term), and after doing the same text over and over again, I gave up on it. In any event, when I insert the code as OpenDocument Text, if it is bigger than one page, the Word Document only displays one page of code. I want it to display all pages. If I click on the box, it opens as a sort of separate Word document, and it displays all pages in that. I tried right-clicking but there didn't seem to be an easy way to do this. Does anyone know how (or alternatively a way to make it so the spell check is off and stays off on that text forever).... Thanks much in advance. |

Inserted objects cannot span a page break in Word.
You can achieve your goal by using a Style that has the 'do not check spelling or grammar' attribute set for the code.
