Hello, I have a strange formatting issue when printing a document from Word to PRN via the Generic Print Driver.
Our company is experimenting with moving from WordPerfect to Microsoft Word in the future, and we are beginning to recreate some templates. Legal transcripts have strict formatting rules, and because of this I'm running into a problem. I'm trying to get 25 lines per page, but we use both single spacing and double spacing on the same page. The only way to prevent it from numbering each individual line is to go into the paragraph settings, Lines and Breaks tab, and then check Suppress Line Numbering. However, when we print that file to the generic print driver to create PRN, the spacing is off on all the lines that have the "suppress line number" box checked. I've attached the word document here, but couldn't attach the PRN. If you print it to text file, you will be able to see the spacing issues on page one and two. Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated. |
