I accidentally inserted "ET" for all "et"s in my document. Yet when I try to reverse the process and type in "ET" for Find and "et" for replace, Word will not in fact make the conversion, although it says it did. Please help. Thank you.

Do you have the "Match case" box checked in both the Find and Replace choices?
If not, Word will just replace the letters and not change the case. |

Thank you. Now how do I find the "Match case" box in both the Find and Replace choices. Where are the choices? I'm sorry for my ignorance, but this is frustrating.
