I designed a cover for a magazine in Word2011/Mac.
On the screen the colors fill to the edges. However when I print, there is a small white edge on the 4 sides. Who knows how to solve this problem? Thank you in advance! (When you want to see my model, please ask) |

What you're seeing is a limitation of your printer, not Word. Most printers have a small non-printing area around the edges for paper handling. Full-page bleeds are possible with many photo printers, however.

Printing to the edge of the paper is not something most printers can do. Think of where the excess ink/toner would end up if it missed the edge - this would rapidly degrade any subsequent outputs if it were allowed to happen.
Commercial printers print onto larger pieces of paper (or a massive roll) and then, when the ink is dry, they trim the edges with a guillotine to make it the final page size. If you need to get full bleed output then you will need to do the same or send it to a commercial printer who can do it for you.
