Disappearing left-indent with invisible text
On word 2007 I have a document where when I put the cursor half way down on some text the left-indent disappears at the top and then when I try to type after it no text shows up or maybe invisible text and the view goes down as if the text is being typed way further down or on a separate page.
Any idea what this is and how to fix it? Thanks |

Disappearing act
First, I would make the invisible characters visible (Ctrl+Alt+8) and see if anything wierd is showing. I would also check the Draft view (ALT+V,D) to see if anything shows up there.
Try stripping all formatting from the paragraph(s). Select all the relevant text, then press Ctrl+Spacebar, then Ctrl+Q. With the text still selected, open your font formatting dialogue and see make sure that all the checkboxes for Hidden text, etc. are completely clear. Does this solve your problem? |

I fixed it but with a different technique. I highlighted all the text, right click, paragraph and then sent indent to 0 this brought everything in line. I think somehow there might have been some weird negative indent or something.
But thanks for your suggestions! |
