TOC Not Working
For 5 years I've been editing a 25 page Word document that was created on a PC. I am running a Mac w/office 2011. The established TOC has always allowed for the user to hover over a page number turning the cursor into a hand. The reader then clicks on the page number and are brought to that topic. I then export the file to my PC where I convert it to a pdf file and upload it to a website. I can't use my Mac to upload.
Last week, the PC refuses to see the link in the TOC. Rather it says hold Control and Click to go to page number. I have completely uninstalled Office 2007 and reloaded, but the problem persists. The identical problem occurs when using other documents w/TOC's. Any thoughts on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Gary
