Multiple Languages - Same Document
Hi Everyone,
I'm not sure will be possible but I will throw the question out there anyway. I would like to create two versions of a document. English / German. Is it possible in Word to switch between languages, entering the English text, then the German. This way all images formatting etc. will be retained and we can ensure the same text is always updated for both languages. Besides this being possible the only other way I see is to have two separate documents. Maybe create a complete document in English and then translate, updating both documents in future.... If anyone has any experience with this sort of thing I would appreciate your feedback. Regards Andy |

Consider using a two-column table.
Create two paragraph styles with identical text characteristics but with proofing language of one set to English and the other German. Assign one style to text in the left column, and the other to text in the right column. |
