Uncompatibility btw Word 1997 and 2007 in Arabic

Hi all,

I have an issue with Arabic and Word.

At my university the computers run Office 1997. At my house I have Office 2007. When I save a Word document in Arabic under Office 1997, Word under Office 2007 changes the text to hieroglyphs. The opposite is true too.

I wanted to know if there was a Compability Patch that would fix this issue?
