Line break between en dash and number
Dear all,
I have the following problem: I have a negative number at the end of a line: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx –20 and word separates the en dash (ALT0150) and the number like this: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx – 20 I need the en dash and not a protected hyphen (Ctrl Shift -) and want the symbol and the number within the same line. Thanks for your help |

You need a true minus sign instead of an en dash (Word will keep it with the following number). To insert a minus sign, use Insert tab | Symbol | More Symbols. Alternatively, type in 2212 (in the text) and press Alt+X.
