Outlining/Numbered Lists
Word indents my numbered lists from the left margin. I want my numbered lists to start at the left margin. How do I do this? In addition, when my list goes from No. 9 to 10, the 10 goes to the right instead of into the left margin so the dots don't line up correctly. How do I get my numbers to line up correctly? |

Quote:
At Number Position, select Right instead of Left (so dots will line up), and Aligned At = 0" to start lists at the exterme left margin. |

Word 2007 is tough to format as it wants to do everything for you. I think I finally got it by shutting all the default outline/list formatting options off!
