One specific paragraph marker problem
I'm using Word 2000 and have a 15 page document. I was using footnotes that later I converted to endnotes. On page 9 there is a paragraph mark at the bottom of the page that is grayed out...as if it were a footer, but in fact, it is outside of the footer space. I've tried normal view and viewing footnotes and clearing all formatting there, turned on all of the viewing for special format marks, I can't find the problem. I need to delete it so I can move text up from the page below. Any ideas? |

Copy and paste this file into a new document
If this fail, then Copy and Paste Special (unformatted text) into a new document--this will require editing, but once done you can move on instead of wasting time trying to figure out how to solve this problem |

Thanks for your input...I solved the problem by doing a FIND/REPLACE for "footnotes" ^f and deleted the one reference it found.
