Styles question

Windows version Word 2013



I am new to styles, so this may seem too basic, but it is important to me.

I know how to set a paragraph to have the first words indented.

I also want to to create a style that will leave the first sentence left justified but allow me to indent the second and third (or more lines).

Styles are essential to using Word so it is good that you are going to embrace them.

What I think you are describing is a hanging indent - Paragraph Format > Indentation > Special > Hanging.
