Moving tab markers-mouse pointer does not seem to work
Just out of curiosity.
I have been using MS Word since it was 3.0. Now under the latest version, I find that moving the tab markers in the ruler is proving difficult. The tab markers do not respond to my mouse pointer. In previous versions that would slide to any position I selected. Now, they don't move and usually a new tab marker is inserted very near the one I'm trying to move. I know I can go into the "tabs . . " dialog box and set them numerically but that is a true waste of time when all I want is for the tab marker to move over a small distance. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Anyone know of a solution? |
