This is a problem I ran into occasionally with Old Outlook (2003 or so?) and now I run into with new Word, 2007.


The problem is when you want to change font type or size, you select the text you want to change, you enter whatever you want, say Arial 10, AND NOTHING HAPPENS! Zilch!! No error message and no change in font. It acts like the font has changed so when I select the text again, it will now say Arial 10, but it hasn't changed from what it was.

No idea - because it all worked fine for me! Downloaded the file, selected various sections of text and changed font and size without any problem!

Have you tried to uninstall/re-install your version of Office?

Thanks for the quick reply and saying you could change the file. No I have not tried reinstalling Office because
1) this problem only occurs occassionally tho it's a real annoyance when it does, and
2) uninstalling and reinstalling Office sounds like a real pain. Is it?
