![]() I have MSWord 2010 on W8 and cannot make the software print a page texture or color. I previously had an older version on XP and there was no problem. Using the same file now, I cannot print a texture, or page color, in the background of my sheet. When on XP, I was using an HP OfficeJet 6700 and it printed perfectly, and had the same printer after the conversion to W8, but would not print texture or page color. I now have an HP OfficeJet 6830, still no page texture or color. It does appear when I am viewing and working on the sheet. It also does appear when I click File/Info and see the small version in the upper right of the screen. But when I click "print", the larger version of what will be printed has no texture (or if a color background, has no color), and prints with no texture (or color). What changed? I was using this to make a nice company brochure and liked the effect of the textured background. ![]() |

Follow these steps:
File / Options / Display then make sure the "Print background and images" is checked. |
