link excel into word
Hi.
I am trying to link an excel file into word so that the information in word update when excel is changed. I can get the link pasted into word, but the excel spreadsheet is to long så it is cropped when the word page ends. Is there some way to make the cells stop at the end of an page and resume in the next? Best regards Rasmus Sorry any poor spelling - english is not my native language. |

The short answer is no. Objects cannot span pages. You could paste selections of the worksheet that will fit on separate pages.

As graham says, a linked object can't span more than one page. However, links to Excel workbooks allow other formats as well, including:
• Formatted Text (RTF) • Unformatted Text • HTML Format • Unformatted Unicode Text all of which can span multiple pages.
