Hanging Indent Issue in Word 2013
Hi all -
I'm currently working on creating a standard document template for my company. Everything was working fine, but now I'm encountering issues with hanging indents after a section break. If I try to use any of the Heading styles I created after the section break, Word appears to ignore the indent I added to the style. However, the indent attributed to the Normal text style works fine. I can't figure out what's wrong - please help! This is the only thing holding up completing this template. I attached the file I'm working with, if anyone cares to play around with it. I realize the page sizes are a little strange, but it is set up that way because (most of you probably know) designs like this one don't play nice with printers. This does not have anything to do with the indent behavior - I tested this thoroughly prior to the section breaks. The problem only occurred after the introduction of the breaks. Thank you in advance! Erin |

I am not sure what exactly is the problem, but try unchecking “Mirror Margins” in the Paragraph properties of your Heading styles.

That appears to have worked. Thank you!
