Default How do you delete a blank page at end?

I have a 20 page Word 2007 document, and it added a blank page 21, which I cannot delete. I tried putting the cursor at the end of page 20 and hitting "Delete", and I tried putting the cursor at the start of the blank page 21 and hitting "Backspace", but neither one works.

Do you have a table ending at the bottom of page 20? Tables have obligatory paragraph marks after them. You can resize the final paragraph mark to 2 pts with zero points above and below, which may do the trick, or by shaving space on the page, if possible. To see the hidden paragraph marks, press Ctrl+Shift+8 (the one above the "U"). This combination toggles hidden characters on and off.

But it would help to know exactly what you've got in your document.

There was a table at the bottom of page 20. I just made it slightly smaller and the blank page 20 went away. However, resizing the final paragraph mark to 2 pts with zero points above and below didn't work. I couldn't find any option to resize the final paragraph mark--only the option for zero points above and below.

That's just the font size. You have to put such small numbers in manually. I think the smallest that appears in Word's list is 8 pts. Just delete that and type in 2, 3 or whatever you like. 2 may be the smallest allowable.

If you look on the standard toolbar in 2003, or the 'Home' tab in 2007 you will find a button that looks like a funny backwards P (the symbol used for the Paragraph Marker) - If you hover the mouse over it, the label 'Show/Hide' should appear (SHORTCUT - Ctrl+*). This will allow you to see all the hidden markers in your document - With this, you can see if there are any of these markers on the extra page at the end; you can then decide what it is that you need to do to lose this page: i.e. delete any extras, decrease margin size, shrink tables, resize final paragraph marker.
