Change page number in TOC position
Hi there
I would like to create my TOC with the page number on the left before my heading like the image attached. Not sure if it has to do with the switched in the TOC code or if a macro is needed? Please please help? |

I know of no method. I am unsure why you want to do this. I have never seen such a table of contents. It would be rare for a document to have each logical section be one page only as shown in your example.
Consider instead using numbered headings. This would do much of what you want. You could have it be without page numbers. Hi Thank you for your reply. We work with alot of branding for clients and they need the page numbers on the left. they have been manually typing this is but it dosnt update. we are trying to make things easier for them.
We can not use numbered heading as their brand does not allow it and the TOC must have a PAGE number not a heading number. |
