Inserting Date, formatting to superscript and subscript
Wondering if anyone can help. I used to have 3 very useful buttons on my tool bar. They have disappeared and now I can't get them back:
1) 'insert date' - press the button and the current date is inserted in a user-defined format. Not to be confused with date auto-fill. 2) 'superscript' - with text highlighted, pressing this button turns the text into superscript font. 3)'subscript' - ditto above but for subscript. If anyone has any useful pointers on how to get these tool buttons back I would be ever so greatful. Thanks for your help. Lou |

Buttons
From your description, these sound like custom macro buttons. I think you may have to recreate them. One other possibility, however, is that the document you now have is not associated with the same template (.dot) file.
If the buttons were in your Normal.dot, either it has been replaced or regenerated without them, or your document(s) are based on a different template. To find out what template your doc is based on, press Alt+T,I and look in the top window (or go to Tools/Templates and Add-ins). |
