Red face Inserting nested brackets in a field code deletes numeration

Good morning,

I cannot deal with this problem. Executing field code with nested brackets deletes a number before it. Example:

Step A:
I write these four lines.
Temp is: "Aaaaaaś"

Step B:
Field code IF is updated.

Step C:
Field codes are hidden.

Step D:
Field codes are showed, 1 = 0 is written and then field codes are updated.

Step E:
Field codes are hidden.

I am sorry for my English...

Default

This is a known, long-standing, behaviour with field codes. MS has never released a patch or, AFAIK, a workaround for it.
