Word Publishing: Split Shapes
Hi all,
I'm designing CD graphics and I can't quite figure out how it works in Office 2013 Word. I need to turn a specific corner of my CD Orange, but I can't figure out how to split shapes. Back in the day you could divide shapes into their parts and eliminate parts you didn't need. In the screenshot i've provided I put an orange square over the edge of my CD template. In older versions, I would be able to eliminate any excess areas of the orange square past the point where it intersected my circle. How do I do this now? |

Is that process (in Word) unique to MAC OS? I have used a similar process in other software (PowerPoint, Visio, et al) but, never in Word...(did not know it could be done).

Maybe i'm wrong and I'm thinking of power point. With all the new functionality of the publisher view in Word 2013 there has to be some way of doing this right? Its the only step away from creating great graphics.
